General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to your registration as a user of the Emma S. online shop and on all product orders that you make using the Emma S. online shop.
All prices include VAT at 25%. Should the VAT rate change, Emma S. reserves the right to adjust prices accordingly. Subject to any printing and typing errors, and products selling out.
You can make your payment using a credit card or by invoice.
We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. These card payments are handled by our partner Stripe to ensure quick and secure payments. Learn more about Stripe here.
Payments by invoice (only available in Sweden) are handled by Klarna AB. If you choose to pay by invoice, you will be charged a service fee of SEK 29. The invoice must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Delayed payments and failure to pay will be charged a reminder fee as well as an interest fee. Learn more about Klarna’s conditions here. For invoice payment the ordered goods will only be delivered to officially registered residence addresses.
General Data Protection Regulation
We process all personal data that is submitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When you register with Emma S. as a user, you give consent for your personal data, and the product purchases you make in the Emma S. online shop, to be saved and processed. The purpose of registering is to enable us to provide you with a high level of service and ensure that you receive the right goods. We guarantee that no details about you will be sold or used for mailings from a third party, but will only be used internally.
By registering with Emma S. as a user you are also confirming that you are aged 18 or over.
Delivery times / When will my goods be delivered?
If you place your order before 10 am on weekdays, we will ship your goods the same day. This means that you will receive your package within 1-3 days in Sweden if you choose 1:a klass or 2-5 business days if you choose Economy shipping. To other EU countries and Norway, the delivery time will be between 2-7 days.
Please observe that the delivery time can be longer during campaigns and holidays.
Delivery charges / What will I be charged for the shipment?
Within Sweden we offer delivery via the postal service at a cost of SEK 49 per order or SEK 19 using Economy shipping. We offer free shipping for order values exceeding SEK 500.
For deliveries within the rest of the EU, shipping charges are EUR 5 per order. For deliveries to Norway, shipping charges are NOK 79 per order. We offer free shipping if the order value exceeds EUR 50 (rest of EU) or NOK 600 (Norway). For delivery outside the EU or Norway, please observe that extra taxes or toll costs may be added in customs.
Delivery / How will my goods be delivered?
Your parcel will automatically be delivered to the postal service centre located closest to your stated delivery address. For those who live in rural areas, the local postman will deliver the package to your door. If you provide a mobile number, you will receive an SMS notification when your package is available for pickup. Otherwise you will receive a notification by e-mail or mail. When you pick up your package, you will need to show your identification and the tracking number.
If you have ordered delivery by mail, the postal service with hold your parcel for two weeks for you to pick it up. If you do not collect your parcel, you will be charged a shipping fee, a return shipping fee and handling fees, currently amounting to SEK 195 incl. VAT.
When we have received your order, an order confirmation will automatically be sent to your registered e-mail address. Always make a habit of checking your order confirmation. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Save your order confirmation so that you have it at hand whenever you contact us.
Returns and Complaints
As a customer you have 14 days’ right to cancel and get your money back. The right-to-cancel period starts from the day you receive the item. In order to invoke your right to cancel, the item must be in its original, unbroken packaging. The cost of the item, will be refunded, less the delivery cost incurred by Emma S. The customer pays the cost of returning the item. To help Emma S. process an item that you consider to be faulty, and for you to retain your statutory rights, you should contact us regarding a complaint within a reasonable time after you noticed, or should have noticed, the fault. If an item is faulty or incorrect, Emma S. will pay the cost of returning it.
If for some reason you wish to return an item, you must first contact Emma S customer service at email@example.com and state your full name, order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Then the following applies:
- We send you a return order form, which must be returned together with the item(s).
- Package the item(s) carefully to avoid damage in transit and send the parcel to us, together with the return order form. The address is: Emma S. AB, Birger Jarlsgatan 58, 114 29 Stockholm
- After a complaint/cancellation has been approved, we refund the amount of your order to the card you used for payment within 14 days of the date we receive the returned item(s).
For invoice payments, return the goods to us in the same way and log into “My Klarna”. Klarna will then manage your refund.
Changes to general terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions may be amended at any time. You can always find the latest version on the Emma S. website. With this in mind, we recommend that you read through these terms and conditions prior to every purchase.
These terms and conditions and agreements between yourself and Emma S. are subject to Swedish substantive law. Any disputes will be resolved by a Swedish court of law. Emma S. AB (“Emma S.”) is a Swedish limited company with corporate identification number 556775-4394.
If you have experienced a problem with a product that you bought from the Emma S. webshop, and if you have not been able to settle the dispute directly with Emma S., you can file a complaint with the EU Online platform for disputes (the ODR-platform).
The platform aims to help businesses and consumers to reach an out-of-court settlement regarding disputes about merchandise bought online. The platform is free of charge and is available in all EU-languages. You can find the platform here:http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
