Putting in the time each day to wash and take care of my skin is as obvious as brushing my teeth. Having a clean face to apply my makeup on is a great way to start my day. I like to end my days by removing makeup and dirt before applying serum, eye cream, and night cream.
We are now launching three amazing new Emma S. products for cleansing and treatment, which is very exciting. No matter who you are or whatever your skin type is, you might just find a new addition to your skincare routine.
Foaming Glow Cleanser
A soft, creamy cleansing foam that cleanses your skin from dirt and light makeup. It contains PHA- and BHA Acids, which help cleanse the skin while mildly exfoliating and giving a nice glow. I use this cleanser in the morning to wash and prep my face for the day. In the evening I use it as the last step in my so-called “double cleanse” routine after removing makeup with an oil cleanser.
Cleansing Micellar Water
Our long-awaited micellar water carefully and effectively removes makeup and dirt in one step, without irritating the skin. This fragrance free formula contains micelles (molecules) that work like magnets on the skin, absorbing dirt and makeup as well as hydrating the skin. The nifty thing about this product is that you do not need to wash your face after which makes it the perfect cleansing product while travelling or when in need of reapplying makeup halfway through the day.
Treatment 2% BHA Toner
This super effective “leave-on” exfoliator does wonders to my skin! It works against enlarged pores, wrinkles, blackheads, and redness. The toner contains 2% concentrated Salicylic Acid (BHA-Acid), a very effective amount. I start by applying the formula onto a cotton pad and then sweep it all over my face, without rinsing it off. After the toner, I will apply serum, day cream, and a high SPF sunscreen if I will be out in the sun. In the beginning, it is a good idea to start slow and use the exfoliating toner 1-3 times a week to see how your skin reacts before everyday usage.
